Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Learn

We use iSpring Learn to train and test our team members on critical parts of our business and their understanding of these concepts. Each member has a user account and logs in on their mobile device (iPad) to access the content. We have about 25 users at any given time and 3 or 4 folks creating content.

Pros

  • Storage of training content via the Knowledge Center
  • Alerting users of new training and quiz content
  • Tracking user scores and progress on trainings and quizzes

Cons

  • The focus on PowerPoint for building decks (we are Mac users!)
  • Customization options (app logo) pricing
  • Hidden deck slides result in a funky completion score, not allowing the user to complete the training since the hidden slide wasn't "seen"
  • From a compliance perspective, we now have a "paper trail" of our team member's training progress
For the most part the product is intuitive and I have not needed a lot of support but the few times I have reached out the response time (via email or chat) has been very fast. I usually hear back the same day on an emailed question and each time they have solved my issue the first time.
Lattice and Trakstar both had a larger focus on employee reviews and 360 reviews which we did not need. Lattice was also priced higher than we were willing to allocate budget for. Lattice in particular seemed very catered to a large corporate organization and we are a small/mid sized business.

iSpring Learn has been great for organizing our training content and keeping it all in one place. It's great for a mid sized organization that has content all over the place and needs an easily accessible repository for content. It has also been great for mobile users since most of our team members are accessing the content on iPads.
