Introducing Uber Green

It’s a great time to go Green! Driving an all-electric vehicle now makes you eligible for Uber Green trips!

Uber Green is a ride option which connects you with riders wanting to get to their destination in a hybrid or electric vehicle

If your vehicle has a fully electric engine, you will automatically be eligible for Uber Green trips.

Note, Uber Green is transitioning to a fully electric trip type. Drivers who complete their first trip in a hybrid vehicle before 9 November 2024 will continue to be eligible for Uber Green requests in that vehicle until 9 April 2025.

What is Uber Green?

Planning to earn using an electric vehicle?

Simply add an electric vehicle to your account, and you’ll automatically be eligible to receive Uber Green trips.

Will I still receive UberX trips?

Yes! If eligible, you will receive Uber Green trips in addition to UberX and all other trip types you are currently eligible for!
