Trip Radar is a new feature that will launch in some cities in Australia over the coming weeks.
Trip Radar allows you to explore multiple trip offers and request trips that work for you.
How it works
There are two different types of offer cards you can receive – Exclusive offers and Trip Radar offers.
An exclusive offer:
A Trip Radar offer:
When you receive and accept an Exclusive offer, the trip is automatically assigned to you to complete.
For Trip Radar offers, they are sent to a handful of Delivery People at the same time and assigned to the most optimal Delivery Person. If you click match on a Trip Radar offer, you’ll be notified whether or not you were matched with the trip.
Trip Radar only changes the way that some trips are offered and displayed, it doesn’t impact the way your earnings are calculated.
Keep an eye out for Trip Radar which will pop up when trips are available and when you’re not completing a trip.
Review your options
Explore the Trip Radar offers. If there are multiple offers, you can browse these by swiping left or right. You can access a list view by clicking on the Trip Radar button. Similar to your exclusive offers these can be either solo or batched trips.

Request a trip
If you want to request one of the trips available on Trip Radar, click the ‘Match’ button. You can request multiple trips at a time.
Wait for a match
Trip Radar will match each trip with one Delivery Person – this is based on a number of factors such as proximity to the merchant and estimated delivery times. Among those who have clicked Match, assignment is not based on who clicked match earliest – so don’t worry about being the first to request.
Complete the trip
If you’ve been matched with the trip you should complete the trip as usual. You will be notified if you are not matched with a trip. Trip Radar offers will become unavailable when they have been matched with another Delivery Person.
Look out for the ‘New Requests’ button to refresh Trip Radar and discover new offers. Similar to exclusive offers, you can decline a Trip Radar offer by clicking the X button in the top right hand corner.
Trip Radar when on the move
Browsing through a list of Trip Radar offers can only be done when moving at a slow speed or when stationary. Trip Radar offers will show as a single request when you’re on the move and not already completing a trip. If you want to request one of the trips on offer, click the ‘Match’ button.
We are committed to the safety of everyone who uses Uber, so please remember to only review and request Trip Radar offers when it is safe to do so.
