Undergrad: Transition Year Creative Arts programme |
Taking place from the 10th – 12th March 2025 across the University College Cork campus, participants will attend lectures, workshops and practicals in a range of subjects including specialist sessions in Creative Arts in the Granary Theatre, Kane Auditorium and Ó Riada Hall (Department of Music, Sunday's Well). The programme allows Transition Year students a taster of a wide range of tertiary level engagements including with the Boole Library, Career talks and a campus tour. The UCC Physics Transition Year Week is an interactive, enjoyable way for potential physics students to experience the School of Physics. The week includes lectures from world-class lecturing staff, lab tours, demonstrations, a tour of the UCC campus, an opportunity to meet other students interested in Physics, and much more.
With high demand and limited spaces, this week is suited for those with a general interest in Physics and those who would benefit/enjoy a week-long programme of Physics activities.
Application Closing Date: 11th of November, with offers of places being made by the first week of December. |
