File Photo / WFYIThe City of Indianapolis has opened an overnight warming center for people seeking warmth from the sub-zero temperatures and extreme wind chill.
Tuesday night temperatures dropped below zero with wind chills making it feel even colder.
Those extremely cold temps are expected to stick around through Wednesday night according to the National Weather Service forecast.

In response to the extreme cold weather, the city opened Washington Park Family Center on the northeast side Tuesday night. The center was opened will be open again overnight Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.
All Indy Parks Family Centers will be open regular business hours throughout the week.
People that need to connect with services may call the Mayor’s Action Center or 211.
