Milic received a qualifying offer from the Lynx prior to the 2024 campaign, though she was later dealt to the Sky and chose to remain overseas for the entirety of the season. It's unclear whether the Serbian center will remain overseas, but the Sky will have exclusive negotiating rights with her during the offseason. Milic averaged 6.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.2 minutes per game over her two seasons with the Lynx.

The Sky will look to keep Evans around for another year after she averaged 7.2 points, 2.4 assists, 1.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 0.1 blocks over 19.1 minutes per game across 39 outings in the 2024 campaign. The 26-year-old started in the club's first 12 matchups, though she saw a reduced role off the bench for the remainder of the season due to the emergence of Chennedy Carter. Evans has spent the last three seasons with Chicago, averaging 6.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.0 rebounds while shooting 36.9 percent from the field in 17.4 minutes per contest.

The Sky will look to keep Onyenwere around after a productive season, during which she averaged 6.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks over 18.7 minutes per game. The 25-year-old forward appeared in 34 of the club's 40 regular-season outings (18 starts), and she became an important piece of the starting five following the departure of Marina Mabrey.

Brown received a reserved qualifying offer from the Wings on Saturday, and she quickly came to terms on a deal to keep her in Dallas ahead of the 2025 season. The 26-year-old made 14 appearances (one start) for the Wings during her injury-plagued season last year, averaging 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds in 10.1 minutes per game. However, she showcased plenty of potential in the preseason last year and should have a chance to compete for a larger role with the team in 2025, especially since Satou Sabally intends to play elsewhere.

Sabally indicated last week during media availability for the Unrivaled women's basketball league that she has played her last game in Dallas, but the core designation will allow the Wings to get a return for the star forward as the two sides seek out a new destination for her. Production hasn't been a concern for the 26-year-old throughout her career, as she's averaged 14.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28.4 minutes per game over her five seasons in the WNBA, but she's struggled with availability, as she's played over 17 games in a regular season just once. However, Sabally will presumably generate plenty of interest from around the league, and she figures to be a key contributor wherever she lands.

Sherrod joined the Liberty as an undrafted free agent ahead of the 2024 campaign. While she was productive at Colorado in college, she didn't have a major role for the Liberty during their championship-winning season in 2024, averaging 1.9 points in 3.7 minutes per game while appearing in just 10 regular-season games. The Liberty will have exclusive negotiating rights with her during the offseason, but that doesn't guarantee that she'll return to the team in 2025.

Johannes also received a reserved qualifying offer from New York last year, but she didn't play in the WNBA due to the league's prioritization rule, as she opted for international play, including playing for France during the Paris Olympics. Whether she'll return to the Liberty in 2025 remains to be seen, but New York will have exclusive negotiating rights with her during the offseason.

Gardner sustained a torn Achilles in February of 2024 and missed all of last year as a result. She was traded from the Sky to the Liberty in March and will have exclusive negotiating rights with New York ahead of the 2025 campaign. Over 38 regular-season appearances (two starts) in the WNBA, she's averaged 7.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 20.7 minutes per game.

Dojkic joined the Liberty in 2024 after spending her first season in the WNBA with the Storm in 2023. Her production took a step back, as she averaged 3.3 points in 9.9 minutes per game over 26 appearances, which all came off the bench. While she had a minimal role during the postseason, the Liberty will have exclusive negotiation rights with Dojkic ahead of the 2025 campaign, although that doesn't guarantee that she'll return to New York.

Stewart helped the Liberty secure their first WNBA title in 2024, and she indicated earlier in the offseason that she intended to return to New York for at least one more season. While A'ja Wilson took home the league's MVP award last year, Stewart proved that she's still among the league's most dominant players, averaging 20.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in 32.7 minutes per game. Since this will be Stewart's second time being designated as a core player, she'll be ineligible to be given that tag in the future, meaning that she'll have increased flexibility to choose where she wants to play in future years.

Brown will have the chance to negotiate a contract larger than the minimum base salary with Dallas before talking with other teams starting Jan. 21. Brown missed the first half of the 2024 regular season due to an illness, but she managed to make her WNBA debut following the Summer Olympic break. Brown played at least 15 minutes in four of her last five games of the regular season, and over that span she averaged 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 16.2 minutes per contest.

Dallas did the same for Jaelyn Brown on Saturday. During her 2023-24 debut season for the Wings, Uzun compiled averages of 4.4 points, 3.0 assists and 1.6 rebounds across 40 appearances.
