Carousel in video ads
A carousel in video ads allows you to add slides with products or services to a video. It is available in all video formats. A video can contain from 1 to 15 slides in the specified order. Each slide consists of an image with a description and a link. You can also add a price of the product or service. You can add a carousel to each video within a campaign.
In in-stream videos, the carousel becomes a packshot, that is, the final frame after the video. Even if the user skipped the video, they'll be able to see the packshot and click the slides with the products. If the video is integrated into the site content, the carousel may appear next to the video — this way, it won't interfere with viewing the video.
How to configure
The carousel is added at the group level, connecting to all the videos in a group. Upload from 1 to 15 slides.
The carousel is added when you create or edit an ad. To configure your own carousel for each video, upload from 1 to 7 slides.
Under Carousel, click Add slide and upload the image:
Minimum size is 450 × 450 pixels.
Aspect ratio is 1:1 (square only).
Maximum file size is 10 MB.
- The slide should contain a mandatory description and a link. Fill in the fields:
Link: A product or service page on the website or in a social network.
Description: 95 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
Specify the price if necessary.
- To change the order of the slides, left-click an image and drag it.
All images and description texts must comply with the design requirements. The carousel is displayed in the video if all of its slides have passed moderation.
