Training Course
5-6 February 2025 | Online, Slovenia
Introduction
For almost 25 years, the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps and the preceding generations of European youth programmes have offered diverse opportunities for youth cooperation and youth work development involving organisations, youth workers and young people from Programme and neighbouring partner countries, officially called third countries not associated to the programmes. This training course will focus on the specific Erasmus+ Key Action 2, Capacity Building in the field of youth (CBY).
CBY projects are larger projects and the application for such a project is relatively long and complex. This training will offer the opportunity to learn from trainers with practical experience in the application and implementation process of such projects and to exchange questions and experiences with the other participants.
If your organisation is based in Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo*, or Bosnia and Herzegovina, working in the field of youth and interested in Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building Youth projects, the SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre and its Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Contact Points in the Western Balkans invite you to join our training course, which will take place online on 5 - 6 February 2025.
Training objectives and content
In view of the upcoming deadline for KA2 Capacity Building projects in the field of Youth of 6 March 2025, this training course aims to enhance the participants’ understanding of the role of Erasmus+ CBY projects, including their unique characteristics, significance and key differences from other Erasmus+ projects, and to equip them with skills, practical tools and techniques for designing and writing CBY project applications.
The specific objectives are:
The training will increase the participants’ capacity to submit applications for and implement CBY projects. Beyond this, it contributes to the long-term capacity-building of the participating organisations, ensuring their sustainable engagement in Erasmus+ and other EU programmes.
The training will be facilitated by Ana Mullanji, Irena Topalli and Mirela Kalamperović, all trainers with experience in writing and implementing KA2 CBY projects. Six interactive sessions over two days, based on a mix of inputs and active participation and exchange among the participants, facilitated by the use of online tools and break out spaces, will offer 9 hours of valuable learning opportunities.

This training should be particularly useful for participants from
